Matt Rascovich started his career as a US Navy airman. Enlisting in 1995, he served all across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, doing everything supporting SEALs on mission to delivering mail to sailors aboard ship. By the end of his five-year commitment, he’d risen to the rank of petty officer third class and had been decorated with the NATO Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and the Armed Services Medal.

Following his honorable discharge, Matt went to school on the GI Bill and got his bachelor’s from the University of Florida, where he was involved with student veteran groups and helped raise awareness of veterans’ issues. He went on to earn a master’s degree in public policy at the University of Maryland, during which time he worked for the FDA and helped develop their rapid-response program for foodborne-illness outbreaks.
After over a decade of serving his nation and pursuing higher education, Matt returned to his hometown and joined Volunteers of America. For the next seven years, he worked with community leaders and organizational staff to house homeless veterans keep them in sustainable living situations. That work led him to help veterans achieve the American dream of homeownership.
Matt chose to pursue this calling on the real estate side. After earning his real estate license, he continued helping veterans by educating them on the homebuying process, the government benefits that helped them purchase their own homes, and the quality of life that homeownership would provide to them and their families.
Today, Matt offers this personalized, end-to-end service to everyone seeking to buy or sell a home in North Central Florida and the surrounding areas. He continues to serve his fellow veterans by serving on the Veterans Experience Board and Public Policy Board. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their two french bulldogs, Daphne and Hadrian.
